CH33T Dining Chair by Carl Hansen & Søn

Designed in 1957, the CH33 is a classic and comfortable chair that appears contemporary despite clear design references to the simple lines of the 50's and 60's.
Available in this all-timber CH33T Chair version, or the CH33P version with upholstered seat for even more comfort.

Everything in the CH33 chair, down to the smallest detail, is well planned. The idea was to create an attractive and sturdy chair while allowing for slimmer dimensions in the wood where possible. The legs are thickest where they need to support load-bearing joints and taper to become slender closer to the floor.

Materials
Carl Hansen & Søn use premium quality timber for all their furniture:
the design of the piece dictates which species of timbers are available.

Note on finishes
Oak and Ash both have a visible wood structure when painted, and are only available in Black (NCS S9000-N) with gloss 20.
Beech has minimal structure when painted and is available in colours selected by Carl Hansen & Søn. As a natural material, timber may vary in tone and pattern even within the same log.
