Verdi Coat Hook By George Sowden

Verdi is a distinguished coat-rack and small shelf with an aesthetic that conjures up classical European restaurant interiors. Verdi is made from European Ash, stained dark brown, and features three wooden round coat pegs and two polished aluminium hooks. A slim shelf with curved edges sits atop, ideal for smaller items such as keys. 

This piece is part of the 2025 SCP Boxed Collection. Initially launched in 2009, the brief challenges designers to create pieces that fit within the dimensions of a standard DHL international shipping box (480 x 400 x 390mm). 
With no restrictions on material, the brief encourages a diverse range of product types.
