A collection that strikes a pleasing balance between modernity and tradition. Oscar by Matthew Hilton is beautifully proportioned, balancing a delicate contrast of long straight lines and natural curves.
The Oscar sofa features two large feather cushions that are notable for their depth, the back has a line of sewn in pulls, lending the sofa the appearance of a buttoned back, without the actual buttons. The feet are made from walnut stained beech, with the front two being turned versions.

Sustainability
SCP have reverse engineered their entire catalogue of upholstery designs to remove foam, and therefore fire retardant chemicals, from their furniture. This dedicated development work, in addition to a build quality that ensures longevity, and a factory in Norfolk that employs and skills a local workforce, means a truly sustainable collection of upholstery design.

Made at SCP’s specialist upholstery factory in Norfolk, England, using natural and sustainable materials. SCP are confident in the longevity of their upholstery, and offer a lifetime guarantee on all frames and a full re-upholstery service.
