With its playful yet minimal design, Chub is a tribute to the solid, durable quality of wooden interior objects from the designer Sami Kallioās 1970ās childhood.Ā
Chub is crafted from FSCā¢ļø certified Ash and distinguished by four chubby feet placed at each corner in an almost monolithic manner. An elegantly curved bowl rests atop, adding a utilitarian element to the design, which presents itself as a decorative object and a functional bowl in equal measure.
āThe idea was to create something between a podium and a bowl. Sculptural enough to be its own centrepiece, but simple enough to let any contents shineā.
